    How about a life in a mini forest imn the heart of Mysuru city? Sounds weird right? Well it is true! SRKVS has a 69 acre which is as green as the valleys of Malenadu!

Vidyashala in the beginning had a vast demand of food and wood resources. So to fulfil the needs a department by name "NATURE CARE" was started. The students then had planted around a thousand trees! Now after giving generation after generation of new plants, there are around two thousand five hundred  trees in this campus!

     Now here are some more facts about the campus:

• Situated in Yadavagiri extension of Mysore.


• Two and half kilometers from the Railway station and three and half kilometers from the central bus stand.


• The Campus covering an area of 67 acres has Twenty play grounds with a stadium, Gymnasium with Badminton court.
  


• An Astronomical observatory with computerised Celetron 14″ telescope.
